• What motivated you to start on your journey to become an artist?

"My aunt is a singer and I always looked up at her for changing people's lives with her songs.

• Did you have any experience prior to your decision to make music?

"No, I only had my ambition to work with.

• Where did the name SoyaM come from?

"I just took a few letters from my name and rearranged in a way I liked it. 

• How did your family and friends react to your decision?

"They were quite shocked and did not approve of it especially my mum because they were thinking that I would not achieve my dream, but I knew what I wanted so I did it anyways.

• Your latest album 'PoisoN' was a big hit, where did the idea come from for it?

"The idea came from the corruption of people and the government."

• How did you react to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the fans?

"I am not surprised, I make good music. 

• Any advice for fans who want to be an artist just like you?

"Always think of music as a hobby and do it because you want to not because of the money, this way you will make better tracks, and do not give up early because it takes time to get the smallest of attention."

Feedback of Magazine Proposal Pitch

Feedback:

• I should create a better masthead because 'Techno' does not suit the Dubstep/RnB genres and 'Beatz' is a common and boring name.

• I did not make arguments for choosing IPC Media as the publisher of my magazine. So I should think more about what publisher I want to choose.

• I did not specify any artists who would be featured I my magazine so I should look into artists who I would like to have in my magazine.

• I should have done more research on my target audience as the information I have now is very vague.

• The model should be 4-5 feet away from the backdrop.

• Lights must be turned off.

• Three point lighting: Main/Key light, Fill light, Hair line light.

• Strength of flashes can be changed, 1 is weakest, 6 is strongest.

• 1.5-18 lenses, turning left=lower, turning right=higher.

• A and S settings, A if the model is still and in focus, S if the model is moving.

• ISO should be 100 or 200, the higher it is the more light will be allowed in by the lenses.

• Black/white and coloured settings, Menu-second icon-set pic. control-vivid=colour,monochrome=black/white.
